1990 2wd 3.9 v6 auto abs and brake light
My ABS and E-brake lights blink like: blink, blink, blink, bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink,... all the freaking time since I bought my 94 Dakota. I know for a fact that the truck was hauled with the rear wheels on the ground and I read somewhere (or the guy that sold me the truck mentioned) that these two events are related. What should I do to stop them blinking?
Hi "R6 Addicted",
I would first check the ABS connector on the top center of the rear end on your truck to make sure it has good connection. It would be good to unplug it and check for dirt build-up etc. and spray it out with some good electrical cleaner spray or even carb cleaner spray will work well. When this connector is not getting a good connection it will make the ABS lights blink or come on as happened to me on my truck so cleaning it out well with a good spray fixed the problem for me so it might fix your problem as well. After you spray it all out well let it dry out before you re-connect it. My truck that I had a plug connector problem on is a 1995 dodge dakota 4x4 3.9 liter V6, so my fix might work for you.
Another thing to try is what "Crazy4x4RT" had suggested in the beginning of this thread as a response to the thread creator.
In the future please create a new thread for your vehicle problems so everyone in the forum can easily see it and also since you have a different vehicle then "Fox87" has.
Thanks, let us know how it goes?

mine came on when it snowed last year and i hit the brakes hard all i did was disconecct the battery for about 20 minutes or more then hooked it back up and it went away and never came back i would give that a shot
Thanks, dodger8691! That was spot on! No more blinking for me.
And sorry about not creating another thread guys. Some forums are very strict with creating new threads on topics that were already discussed elsewhere (even if the thread is more than a year old) therefore I got in the habit of searching for whatever I need before posting a new thread. Or maybe you are referring to not create or post on the "guides" and yet in the home area. Anyway, I'll try to keep your advice in mind, MoparMan1995 and will post a new thread in the main area whenever I need help.
Thanks again!

Maybe not 4 Wheel ABS but you do have Rear Wheel ABS. 92-up standard for all Dakotas to have RWABS.
Fuse #7 under the dash, RWAL (Rear Wheel Anti-Lock) and stop lamp and buzzer 10amp red.
