Well my engine didn't give the big of a fight but the parts I ordered did. I ran into one issue when I was rebuilding it, m old crank did not fit in and spin freely seemed like it was jammed up. But thankfully the engine rebuild kit I ordered came with one and I popped that in and it was like butter. If I didn't love my truck as much as I do I would of put it to the grave instead of rebuilding, but I'm glad I did, cause she's going to give me a lot more miles and a lot more fun. Tonight I'm going to pick up my girl and go out seeing as how I haven't seen her in about a month due to no ride.

Starter hooked up properly? If its getting power it should turn over, the starter should crank anyways.

You have spark and fuel or just one or the other?

I can't find an old thread by me, I will keep looking, but I remember I missed a wire, somewhere by the ignition coil, truck would crank but not turn over without it, it fell off to the side and I didn't see it, I will keep looking for the post.

Of course it is on the last page of my 600+ posts.

There is a ground by the ignition coil. I missed it, drove me crazy. I think it is an easy one to miss.

hmm...i don't have one there. did some years come with them?

make sure you plugged the dist wire into the right connector and not the oil pressure one. i did that once by accident. lol
