Default 95 4x4 Wheels and Tires question

Greetings! This is my first post and it's a question which I have been researching since I purchased my 95 Dakota Extended Cab 4x4 V8. I know the stock wheels have a 5.5" backspacing and a 31x10.5 tire fits with little to no rub. I was curious if anyone has purchased wheels with a 5" backspacing and ran 31x10.5s. I love the Cragar Street Lock D Window Black Wheels and they make them in a 15x8 with a 5" backspacing. As lift kits are very expensive for these trucks, I only plan on doing wheels and tires with new rear leafs and a bit of torsion bar tweak. I just want an outside opinion to verify if all my research has led me in the right direction. 15x8 wheels with 5" backspacing running 31x10.5 on a torsion bar only truck. Anyone think I will have issues? Thank you very much!

For a lift it is easy. Buy some indexed torsion bar keys. That will lift the front. And new rear leafs will work. Or just add a leaf or blocks. Or a body lift. All cheep. Check the 1st Gen Dakota FAQ2 That is in this section. All the lift options are in there.
