i watched the 2nd video all the way through, that thing has a ton of rust on it I'm so glad I live in southern California, *******ly rust free climate.

I kind of like what he did with the intake. Stupid simple but not bad!

I've got a bad exhaust leak so I got to check for leaks, cracks, corrosion. A glasspack is only $28 at autozone, I'm gunna put one on mine... Cheap. Gets job done.

There's no point in thinking hard on an exhaust on a 3.9 dakota!

Ordered my cherrybomb glasspack today, picking it up from autozone tomorrow. It was $22.99 + tax!

I'm going to try and shorten the exhaust to have it mount just before the rear tire, rather than behind it. I have a smog coming up before the end of august and live in California... I thought about putting a newer cat in, but in california the scrap yards are required to remove them and the retail prices for them are insane. I see alot of cats on ebay that say "not for sale in CA" there can't be a difference! I just don't get it. It's all a big scam.

if its a 2wd you can forget about that i tried it and i could get it to work, the only way it would work is to do it out through the wheel well but i dont know about a 4wd

@ willeox, any particular reason why you couldn't mount it before the wheel? I don't see any reason why someone couldn't do that. I'm going to be doing some chopping and welding by having it shorter I believe I can manage without adding any new tubing which is excellent I just don't know if my tail pipe will be too short to bend, I need a 90 degree bend on it since the PO did something to it and ripped it off! If my teacher happens to have the correct size OD tubing with similar wall thickness maybe he'll give me a little bit which would be badass, even if he has a larger OD thats kewl I can practice the technique of creating a tapered tube or flange and just taper it out to 3" at the tail pipe!

OK, I had a better look at the exhaust and willeox is right. The reason being is the cat and muffler are just too long to have the tail pipe before the wheel, but I'm not upset. It is going to look pleasing to finally see my tailpipe.

The cherry bomb I got is 26 inches. Please god don't sound like a rice burner.
