Red face 95 Auto with Reverse "whine"

95 Dak 2wd, 5.2,115,000 miles. Just purchased it from second owner and in great shape.
Had my trans flushed and filter changed at my local shop...now sometimes when it's just started(cold) and shifted into Rev. I get a whine noise that's rpm connected. The shift seems to be really "soft" between gears on column also.
Is it typical or is it connected to the flush??
Band adjustment needed? or Linkage bushing(I hope)

Thanks in advance to all, Marshall in Portland

Hopefully it would be something simple as the rear band needing adjustment. The FAQ has a Transmission diagnostic chart.
