Post Stupidest question ever.

How do I change the fuel filter on my 1991 dakota? 22 gal tank but my haynes books is plan confusing me. And ive read that you might as well drop the tank or remove the bed to do it, is that true?

The fuel filter is integrated in with the sending unit, so yes, you either need to drop the tank or lift the bed. There may be an auxiliary fuel filter along the frame rail, but the primary one is with the sending unit.
