Default 3.9L magnum V6 to 5.2L magnum V8 swap

hey, i just got word that my engine is screwed, and i was wondering if swapping from a 3.9L to a 5.2L is relatively easy, or if its even worth it. Thanks for the help

5.2L to 5.9L v8 (LA to LA or Magnum to Magnum)

The 5.2L and 5.9L v8s are externally identical engines, meaning they share the same dimensions and mounting locations. They also share the same heads and intake. The easiest way to do this swap is to get a 5.9L from heads down (long block). You will need the flexplate (or flywheel) and harmonic balancer for the 5.9L because the two engines are balanced different. Everything else from the 5.2 will swap over including wiring harnesses, injectors, and the computer.
