Problem solved. I was sold shocks for a 3" lift, not UP TO 3" as stated to me, explains my shearing problems. Getting new shocks this weekend to put on.

mine snapped right off, then an easyout snapped inside of the bolt

POS's....used Pb for a week and still snapped them...so now im bouncing around like i have hydrolics... sucks.... i do have a question though,

do the shocks have to be bolted in the same holes or can i drill new holes 90 degrees and bolt them there?

RED = Original Holes
BLUE = NEW Holes

(looking from the bottom up)

I'm not quite following, there is only one bolt on the lower control arm, and it is cast steel, if you were to drill new holes, well, there isn't much meat left there to do it.

DeerKiller9991 is talking about a 2wd. They mount from the bottom of the control arm with two bolts. I see no problem with the mounting holes turned.

Dbilik did you get the rest of the bolt out?
