Default Issues Shifting

Hey guys, after looking long and hard I finally found a place that may help me with my question. Here goes, Recently after driving my 94 Dakota for about 15 mins down the highway, it will shift no problem from 1st to 2nd. Then it will have issues shifting from I wanna say 2nd to 3rd, but it may be 3rd to 4th. Anyway. normaly when I'm doing about 55 my RPM is about 2000. Once the truck is warm it will do about 2000 RPM at 55 MPH and will not shift up higher. Has no problems when I first start driving before its warm shifting. I have checked my tranny fluid and there is no issue with it being burnt or low. Just wondering if I could get some help on this issue other than buying a new truck. Also when it is warm when I let off the gas the RPM will drop down to about 1200 then go up to 1400 after it downshifts. But when I press on the gas she will hesitate then go back up to about 2600 RPM for about 60 MPH.

First decide if it is a 3rd to 4th issue. The 4th is Over Drive OD, it is electronically controlled. If it is a OD issue it may be the speed senor or the OD solenoid.

If it is the 2nd-3rd then that is hydraulically controlled. It may be the TV cable. To adjusts it correctly check here. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...ml#post1898201
