Freeze Plugs Leaking on my 92 4x4 5.2

Default Freeze Plugs Leaking on my 92 4x4 5.2

Hey all , New to the forum here but got a prob all my mopar nut friends. I have 3 freeze plugs leaking on my block and the total rebuild has less than 25k on it and 5 years age on build . The freeze plugs that are leaking on my truck are 2 behind the motor mounts on each side and 1 behind starter , is the any way the get to them to r&r them or should I just yank the motor again ???? any suggestions or opinions are greatly appreciated . Thanx in advance also anyone got a regular cab shortbed they wanna sell for a street truck build between an 87 ? and a 95 ? just curious love the first gennies .... Plus too many small block s-10s around Joplin missouri , I kinda wanna show what a real truck does . heheh

Ya I would say pull out the motor and replace them. They may leak more or pop out. Or in the winter time freeze due to the crack. Get it done before it gets worse. I'll take time. Get a few friends to help and knock it down in no time.

I'm waiting to hit the Lotto to have my freeze plugs, well at least the leaky one, replaced. The service manual lists 5 plugs. Where are these located and do you really have to pull the motor to get to them? Are the locations the same across a range of years? Mine is a 93 with 318 V8.
