Default Swapin a 440 into a 90 Dakota

Hello people,

I have a buddy that is going to be installing his built 440 into a 90 Dakota extended cab. He is an older guy and doesn't do computers, so I'm posting for him.

As with all forums, I find the search feature is worthless. So with that said, does anyone know anything about doing such a swap? The truck has a TBI system on it, he wants to try and keep that and just buy a bigger TB for the 440. Also, does anyone know anything about installing a roll cage? He thinks he'll need one. Power to weight should put him in the low 12's to high 11's.

Anyways, any insight to this project will be nice.

Thanks
Bryan

I will move this to the 1st Generation Dakota Sub-forum. In that section under the FAQ2 post there is a few links for a 440 swap. Post up pics of when as it goes along
