Default Blower fan switch?

I have a 93 extended cab with the 318 and with out a working blower fan.
Initially I had the two higher speeds working with the lower speeds not. I took the dash apart and removed the switch (a six blade switch). I have a friend who works in an auto parts store, he is unable to locate anything but a 5 pin switch. I called the local dealership and had them check the parts books, all they list for the 93 is a 5 pin switch. I was under the understanding that the 94 has a different switch but it is also a 5 pin switch. I have A/C but I don't think that was so uncommon that the switches wouldn't be at least noted somewhere. I have gone though the FAQ's and can't seem to find any mention. It's coming up on the time of year that the blower fan is needed to help clear the winshield and I need some help.

Can anyone tell me where I can get a six pin switch for this vehicle?

If not can someone help me by walking through a jurry-rigged switch?

Most likely it is the resister pack that is on the passenger side of the fire wall. There is a write up on it in the FAQ. Easy and cheep to replace.

If you sure it is the switch the junkyard is your best bet. But the resister pack is what gives you your speeds not the switch.

I changed out the resistor pack and am unable to find a 6 pin switch in the junkyards.

I learned that one the hard way. I had a guy to fix it, and he tore apart the entire dash and chopped out the controller, then disappeared.

I swapped the resistor block (about the easiest single thing to do in this truck!) Now nothing else works right, but the blower fan works properly.
