ive got an 87 dodge dakota thinkin bout rebuilding it, im in love with my truck and dont really wanna sell him. how ever theres alot i need done anyone got ideas to what i should and shouldnt add, i cant add a lift kit it would look retarded and they discontinued rear leafsprings...
any yall got ideas?

 

Well it depends on how bad it is? And what your plans are. Do you want to swap in a V8? A lift kit is not that hard to to and you don't need to use new leaf springs.

 

its not bad at all, no i havnt switched the engine out yet, im goin to do some body work as soon as i get out of school, wyotech wont let me do it at school. i like where it sits now. im just not sure what all i should do for it, i wanted to switch it out out from bein an automatic to a manual. ive got a few things in mind.

 

it really depends on what you want to do with it. you building it to be a daily driver? racer? offroader?

 

its gonna go off road and its goin to be a daily driver. i would love to be able to get it over 80 mph.

 

Lol. LA 5.2/318 and NV3500 swap is what I see in your truck's future.
