Well heres my story i got my frist truck/ 93 dodge dakota/ and found out the frame was rusted and gone./Dam slat monsters stole it./ so i then parted it out and still am. so if you need anything please send me a message. Well back to my story. After i saved some money up being a dumm 15 year old. i spend my money on a ax10 rc rock crawler. dum move on mee. i played with i once a wanted real a truck. So i went on craigslist and found a 91 dodge dakota for 500$. so i said i'll go check this truck out just for the hell of it. After we drove up to see it. and the frame wasn't rusted and the guy that had it needed gone. After thinking with my parents later. they said i could get due the the fact it needs a tranny. After my dad offered the guy 350. it was mine. yea back in again. Picking up the truck tomarrow. But this time i am clean up the frame. and i also want to lift it to fit 37in tires on her. so i need ever trick. how are you lifting your trucks.

 

congrats on the new purchase.. first off for lifts, the easiest thing to do is check out the faq page , but you say 37" tires? only way your going to do that is with a SAS , unless you wanna go with a 6" BL like another member did. the trucks dont have to much for lift really.. there is a 4" suspension lift, and 2" BL out for these.. other then that you can get lift blocks and crank your TB. but.. do you really think it will be worth it to dump in that kind of money for a 350$ truck? dont mean to insult.. just saying could be a huge money pit.. btw, wanna sell the rock crawler?

 

i would love to sell it. this is the build forum. but i have to take a new picture. the rear fenders are off now and needs to be painted. i can finish it for one. Well make me an offer. Need the money for the dakota
