Unhappy 1992 v6 Dakota no fire

92 v6 2wd will not fire. We have checked all the wires, replaced the distributor cap and button, the distributor pick up as well. We have replaced the crankshaft sensor and the computer. Checked/replaced the coil as well and made sure the auto shutdown relay was not corroded or burnt. Relay box wires appear to be intact and functioning. Truck will turn over and try to start but there is no fire anywhere. What are we overlooking? Normally the vehicle runs great, but this was started by loss of power, stuttering and loud and frequent backfire....then it just quit! HELP!!!!

Default no fire

Did you check the wiring in the wire harness right behind the power distribution box. It,s nect to the battery. There is a 4 red and white wire connection in that harness that corrodes and sometimes breaks. There are a couple of threads no this problem with pictures. Check em out.

Yes we checked these, they look alright. Do we need to take them out of the harness to check anything else?

There are a lot of splices in there. Wouldn't hurt to resolder them.
