Default IDing

is there a way to ID ECMs and Throttle Bodies, Id like to know what year and motor size its for. My truck has a TBI 360 that was installed by the previous owner and i want to figure out what i am dealing with here.

To ID the PCM you can try to find a part number and look it up. The TB would have a part number too, but that will probably cover several years.

If the engine is what came stock with the FI then you can look at the engine casting number. It is on the back near the bell housing on the driver side. Go to www.google.com and search for Mopar engine casting numbers. You will find tons of sites.

If I remember right you were searching for the year of the engine to find parts. The LA engines were pretty universal. So just get parts for anything like a 85 D150 with a 360.
