Default Water Leak on Passenger Side

I got this water leak somewhere. Started happening within the past month. The passenger side floor is flooding with water whenever it rains. Had the same problem on my '84 Dakota but never figgured out where the leak is. Anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks

Default Problem Solved

did a google search and came up with the answer on another forum.

The leak is at the seam between the roof and the rear side panel (extended cab). Externally you see a "divider" (I'll call it) of about 1/2 inch. This can be removed by removing the inner side panel plastic and the headliner. In there is a sealed joint. This "sealer" deteriorates and allows water to drain down inside to the floor, thus flooding the floor. This could happen on either side of the truck. Silicone it all up and all is well.

Well now....that would explain why my jack is all rusty and useless. I never would have thought to look at the back of the cab for a leak in the front.

I had a wet floor too, but it turned out to be coming from a plug that fell out in the middle of the drivers side floor pan. Might be worth checking that also.
