Since I traded my first gen for a motorcycle, I am going to get rid of the heavy steel brush guard I was going to modify to fit it. I think it would look great on a first gen with a little bit of tweaking to make it fit. Anyways, I am posting here because I really think it only applies to the guys in here. I am in the Chicago area, go to WI now and then, let me know if anyone might want to take it over.

It is larger than it needs to be for the Dakota in terms of height, so it needs to be lowered slightly. Width seems pretty good. Metal tabs need to be flip flopped to line up with bumper bolts. Basically just removing some metal and welding back up.

 

It better have been a sweet bike. That is very similar to how I got mine. I cut off the sides and narrowed it to fit the bumper mount.
