will a 3.9l v6 from a 2002 dakota fit in a 96 with a 3.9l? Just found one of craigslist, and its what i need to get my truck up and going. just hoping that itll fit, thanks for the help

 

Yes it will work. Just use your intake and electronics.

 

Will it fit? Yes. Will it work properly is the question. I don't know if there are differences in sensors, wiring, etc. One of the more experienced Dakota guys can tell you that though.
