In my inept and antiquated train of thought why worry bout the wire? If you have signal at one end and no signal at the other buy a spool or good wire splice into where it is sending signal and reconnect to the pump. You want to do this cause if no spark occours after 14 seconds ( at least thats the way it is on my 89) signal to the pump will stop so you dont blow yourself up. If all else fails drink a bottle of Jack pizz on the back tire say yeha and drive down the road. My wife just suggested band aids rofl. Remember Yehaaa!!

P.S. I am not a redneck , well maby the cows are mooing, but the coyote's stopped howling bout 5 A.M. I ended up taking mine to a redneck, four day beard, dirty clothes, filthy hands, smoking two cigs at a time but he had the proper diag tools and figured it out.

Hello Forum,

Well I just thought it was about time for an update. I just wanted to say SUCCESS. The truck is running again. I ended up cutting the wire and running a new wire from the c207 connector right to the c327 connector. Not sure if anything else was using that wire which is now an after thought, but if something else does, Ill splice it in. I still need to mount the new wire, since it is a but longer, and re-wrap everything, so I have some finish work to do, but the initial problem of no power to the pump is now fixed. One saga behind me, I'm sure another to start shortly...... details in my next post :-p.

None the less, I'm pretty much calling this one finished.

Later!
