Round 2 of "Can my day get any worse!"
Goto Autozone or a parts store, get a pack of Spark Plug Non-Fouler (Part number 42002 should be 18mm) you will need both. Remove your rear Oxygen Sensor from the truck (the one after the cat) you will need it to fit right. Take one of the 2 Non Fouler's and drill it out, might take some time but well worth it in the end you want to be able to screw the o2 in easy without forcing it or having a super tight fit. After you do that, take the o2 and screw it into the non fouler you just drilled out, make sure it is tight, then take the one you didn't drill out and screw that into the exhaust. Screw your modified o2 in to the non fouler you just put into the exhaust make it tight, plug it back into the harness. What you just did was make less exhaust gas hit the o2 and fool the computer into thinking that your cat is working properly and keeping that pesky CEL light off. I was on the highway last night, had to go up a hill, dropped it into 3rd gear ran up the gear to pop it into 4th and I heard it back fire. Saw a flash in my rear view mirror, I knew the motor backfired didn't expect what I saw when I did it again, had a nice fireball out of the exhaust lol. I wish I had someone to capture the picture in the passenger seat lol 2 foot flame flew out the exhaust. My little 4 cylinder sounds nice now with no cat and the Flowmaster 40 on it with the exhaust out the bed too. But that's what the Fouler Trick is, less back pressure, more power, better sound, and flames, what else could a redneck ask for.
