I have a 94 Dakota 4x4 and Im swapping in a 318. I have the v6 out and looks like the trany has been rebuilt recently. Was just going to throw in the motor and get the 46rh rebuilt and install later. I was going to use a 95 Dak cpu and harness and was wanting to know if that will run this transmission?

 

If the 95 is from a V8, then yes it will. Don't forget to add in your extra injectors wires. For a complete write up on the swap check the FAQ in this section.

But remember the V6 transmissions did not come behind the V8's for a reason. So get that 46rh as soon as possible.

 

Im using the V-8 harness and cpu. Was wanting to know if it would control the transmission? I was not sure if the conectors were the same?
