Default Tq converter to Flexplate Issue

I really apreciate all the help so far, but 1 more problem lol. I went to bolt the tq converter to the flexplate and the holes will not line up. I looked up the flexplates and it says all the v8 are the same. I got the 5.2 and plate from a 95 cherokee and the 46rh from a 95 dakota. They are off by maybe 1-2 cm. What could cause this and can I just open the holes a little? Thanks again

Well according to what we found out the Jeep Magnum has the starter on the passenger side. So the Dakota 46rh will have the starter mount on the driver side. I don't know if you can just swap over the starter and be fine.

As for the flexplate. Yes you can open up the hole. But keep in mind it may throw off the balance. Try removing all the bolts and move the plate around to line it up with another set of holes.
