Default Wont start hot. Please help!!!

Hi all. Back again, though it's been a while.

1989 3.9 4x4 5 speed.

After the truck has been drove a while and shut off, it refuses to start until it has sat for 15-20 min.

It WILL start if primed or bump started.

I've replace the fuel pump, filter, and fuel pressure regulator.
Everything but injectors, and I pulled and cleaned them.

This is a total pain! Especially when my wife does the occasional stall on the way to work.

Any help would be more appreciated than I can say!

Thanks!

Have your starter tested, also check your batt + cable for corrosion and your starter cable.

It could be anything. Have you done a FULL tune up on it?

Been a while since a full tune up, but that's coming.

I've found that there is no vacuum going to the fuel pressure regulator.
The passenger side fuel injector has been replaced, but still drips instead of sprays the fuel.
Is this due to the lack of vacuum? I'm not very knowledgeable about running down vacuum issues.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Most likely it sound like a bad fuel pressure regulator or a bad fuel pump. The vacuum only help increase the pressure during high throttle situations. But it is needed so fix it, but it is not your main problem.

A vacuum leak can make the engine act up. So find the missing hose.
