Default hesitation taking off

Can a bad "rusted through with a couple holes" exhaust cause the truck to hesitate pretty bad when taking off. Truck was running fine on 25 mi. home. Stopped at light by house and when I went to take off it was louder than normal and didnt feel like it wanted to go like normal. Any thoughts?

Same problem here hesitation on take off, not all the time though. Some days it does it, some days it doesn't. I'm no mechanic by any means but a buddy of mine is going to look at my truck Wednesday, hopefully find something easy.

Found it. Ended up being a plug wire that grounded off on the manifold.
