I was wondering if it is possible to swap a hood from a '97 or newer to my '96? I like the look of the newer hoods and i'm planning a trip to a upull it yard soon.

It will not bolt on. But with lots of modification can fit. But there will be a gap in between the fenders and the hood. Or swap in the 2nd gen hood and fenders. But the the cab will not go with the fenders (2nd Gen is more round). It will all need to be modified. But heck no one else will have that.

Thanks 4x4RT for the advice i guess i should have waited a year. It sounds like a lot of work maybe i'll just look into getting a newer Dakota as mine is starting to need repairs more and more. Thanks again.
