A Grand Cherokee huh? Never thought of that. The wiring for the OH console is in the FSM. I saw a console on ebay a while back but, got outbid in the last few seconds. I haven't seen one since.

How difficult was it to line up?

lineing it up wasnt too difficult except that i was getting frustrated with the headliner so it turned out a little crooked, i based it off the stock cab light...so i dont know how that happend.
But on the jeep, the curvature of the console fit the curvature of the daks roof by the visors perfect.
I ran the wires down the panel on the driverside front which is now epoxyed on due to not knowing how to take it off. I also put my fog light switches up there so if your wondering, and the black dome that looks like a camera is a temp for the inside or something
but heres some pics

Nice mine is odd shaped and the passenger visor doesn't like to swing around.

looks good. If I did that I would want the compass to work also. If anybody wanted TPMS on their truck you could get a overhead console from a 300m that has it and the four tire sensors from that vehicle.

That looks really good. I may have to look into that someday. That dome light in the back of these trucks is absolutely worthless for people in the front. I hate trying to write something in my own shadow, what a PITA.

I got one of those... The sad thing is unless you have obdii the temp won't work along with a number of other settings...

On the other hand I bench tested an overhead console out of a blazer and that Imo has a little more comapatability with the temp sensor and the compass(to bad that's all it has)

Looks Good! Good Job.

What I want is a Cubby Pocket (I guess that is what it might be called). My Dads Z71 has one. The Overhead consoles are limited in what will fit within it. Heck I can't fit my sunglasses in the one in my Suzuki.

Like this one. It's upside down in the pic.
