88 dakota 3.9l v6 exhaust

i just bought a 88 dakota v6 and was wondering what i could do to make it louder and sound better? could i strait pipe it or what thanks kevin

What I did was remove the muffler and welded in a Thrush Welded Muffler in its place. I also removed the cat and welded in a glasspack in its place. Sounds great! Love the sound of my 3.9.

i had my exhaust redone about a month ago i removed the cat and put in a flowmaster offf brand 50 series dualed out in front of both tires makes the 3.9 sound almost like a v8
