No I don't have the orginonal latch, some moron before I bought it stole the latch and the cable

Is the windscreen actually cracked? Doesn't look like there's any damage from the pictures. It's actually quite amazing that the force of the bonnet flying up like that didn't shatter the entire windscreen.

Damn..got me scared now. I have hood pins just like you cause my latch hooks but doesnt fully latch ya know? And the handle inside does nothing so I installed hood pins to hold it down. And I could see the pins just giving way cause before I adjusted the bump stops or whatever under the hood to push up on it more, my hood would kinda slightly move up and down just a tad bit under high speeds, so maybe thats what happened??

Well that's what I thought about the hood pins that they moved slightly up and down and that caused the hood pins to break but what I did when I installed the new hardware was I installed them so low on the hood that the hood will not move anymore almost looks like I have to force the hood closed that mm worth of space will hurt it
