Default floor shifter plastic housing.

Broken on 89, secure 94. Whatis thenoroper procedure to remove? I can see the arrows pointing toward fire wall and assume you go that way, suspectpressure down and fwd slide but it does not budge, dont wanna break it.Read Haynes, All Data, must be stupid or blind cant find solution

Arrows? I think you just have screws on the sides, at least on the 94 you should. Photo?

We talkin same here? Sorry I wasnt clear on the 89 with the broken cover you could lift the cover and see the metal plate around the 4x4 selector, the arrow i was trying to follow was on it. The 94 looks the same, saw no screws so it must be a pop off. Problem with pop offs is if ya pop off wrong it could become popnoff any time it wants.
