Angry Auto to manual swap

O.K. I'm tired of the auto tranny in my truck, I've got a 3.9 mag. What will fit as far as a manual tranny? I know I'll have to get the pedal assembly and the master cyl. Just need to know what will bolt up (as far as numbers
NV3500?)directely to my 3.9. any thing from a ram or jeep or what ever.(J.Y.diving) I've replaced the tranny 2x now the TQ. is cracked, ready for a 5 speed. I love my truck but this tranny issue is startin' to **** me off. Thanks for reading and the info y'all can give. Mike

The NV3500 will be best, from Ram, Van, Dakota. Jeeps won't work. I believe the v6's came with a ax15. The 3500 came on V8's so it is stronger, since it sounds like you have a heavy foot. For a good writeup on the swap check the FAQ2.

An NV3500 with a magnum engine bellhousing will work, or an AX-15. I had the AX-15 in my V6 Dakota and I was rough on it, never had any problems.

Crazy, my foot is not heavy, well maybe a l'il bit. I did pull 7000+ lbs. about a month ago. That may have something to do with it. anyway, Thankyou for the reply, seems you are the only one to talk to me. I'm off to the J/Y to see what I can find.
