Default Newbie ?

Hey,
Thinking about buying a 94 Dakota SLT w/ 91,500 miles, 3.9L V6; it has a small bench seat behind driver/passenger seats. Does anybody know what this truck can haul/tow ? Want to use it as a second vehicle/work truck. the Caddy is killing me in gas. Hoping to get it for about $1500 inspected.

Pretty good miles for a 94. I have the same truck with 141K on it. It has it's quirks, but all in all, a real good truck (a one owner too.)

Curious to know what it can haul/tow as well. Right now I'm just hauling music gear....amps, speaker cabs, guitars, asst. odds & ends, etc.

Will eventually pull a small trailer (6x10 or a bit larger?) with it though.

What quirks? What does the "CC" stand for? Club cab?

Yes, club cab.

Oh I dunno, I replaced the crank sensor, it needs ball joints, gas gauge isn't working since the guy replaced the fuel pump (before I got it,) has a small, intermittent rattle probably due to a slack timing chain. Nothing major actually, just normal stuff. I call them quirks opposed to major "big deals" really.

....and nothing I can't fix.

Payload 2,550, trailer 5,500.

From the ALLpar website. It states that values did not change until 97'.
