Default Newb with a pair of 'Kotas

I wouldnt say im a newb to the trucks Ive had my 92 for about 5 years. It's been through its fair share of torture. She's been grossly overweighted Wet 350/turbo350/208t-case/GM 14bolt with leafs and 33-12.50 on 16.5's in the bed at one time.

Best truck I have ever owned period. Shes a 318 auto/ 3.90 gear LE ext cab. Hopefully this summer she'll be sitting atleast 4" higher on 33's with a 5.9 Im rebuilding.

I stumbled across this site when I has the pleasant misfortune of scattering my rear differential pushing some snow about 3 weeks before christmas. Great technical descriptions, very informative. After all is said and done she has a brand new trac-lock in the rear with all new internals.

I sold my snowplow (junk little western 6.5 for a s-10) and turned around and bought this clean 89std cab 4x4 with a toasted tranny. She sat for 3 years, dropped a battery a new set of plugs and 5gal of fresh fuel and she fired right up.

Enough of me gabbin. Enjoy
-Clayton

Nice. I'm assuming you mean you shattered your differential. That had to be a fun sound.

oh yeah.the center pin bolt backed out from the looks of it. and the pin decided to give the pinion gear some tough love... it looked real pretty.
