Default Sudden power loss

I've got a 94 with the 3.9. Bought it new and it's stock with 140k on the clock. Often when I hit a rough spot of pavement and the rear end gets jolted the engine cuts out. Only lasts a second or maybe two. It seems like I can crash and bang thru pot-holes and jump speed- bumps or whatever and it hangs in there just fine. But Jiggle that rear end and it'll crap out. I had the infamous wire harness splice problem a year or so ago and fixed that but this sure sounds like another similar deal. I can't think of any thing vital mounted back there that would kill the engine, unless maybe the fuel pump is getting sloppy. I notice there's a sensor mounted on top of the diff. but I believe that's anti lock brakes, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, it's a long shot but I thought I'd get a few opinions before I go shotgunning parts at it. There's nothing like aging electrical stuff to tax a man's patience. Thanks in advance for any ideas. RV

Maybe a bad fuel pump wires, tons of options most up front. Just start shaking all wires and see if any give you your problem.

Couldn't agree more, ya best bet start it up and start shaking the back end wires, then cut and splice. Though it doesn't hurt if you are doing electrical I look at all of the wiring, notice on mine alot of the wires was trashe even if they weren't causing a problem.
