Default New to Site!!!

What's up? My name is Angelle and I am the proud owner of 1994 Dodge Dakota V6... My baby is two tone silver and green and I am more than proud to drive her!!! I currently reside in Southeast Louisiana and am bourn and raised here! I am 21 and the very proud mother of a beautiful baby girl named Isis Ilene! She's my heart... Feel free to add me on Facebook.com! Just search: Angelle Giraldi and look for the black and white photo!

I am Having a problem and you guys seem to know your stuff! My headlights do not work... When I pull the switch to turn them on, the parking and tailights come one but not the headlights. My highbeems work but only if I hold the switch. I am simply wondering if this could be a dash problem or a fuse problem? I work on my own vehicle and would very much like to keep it that way seeing as how its a 16 year old truck and still runs like its brand new if anybody could tell me please let me know..... Thanks in advance@

I doubt it's a fuse problem, since, you know, the headlights turn on and all. I'm pretty sure the headlights and the high beams are the same bulb, so that's interesting that one works and not the other.

My '93 did the exact same thing when I first bought it. Replace the switch 0n the dash with the pull ****. The part is around $20.

Ditto on the wcome. Ditto on the light switch also. Agree 20 bucks round numbers. Takes about an hour because the panel around instruments has to come off, then you can get to the switch to replace it.

Could be that the wire the switch pugs into is a little odd.

Had that happen in the dodge ram van. There's the little clip that broke, so the wire was kinda "eh" (<- for lack of better terminology!)

Replace the switch, and adjust your steering column just right, and you should be golden.
