I'm new to the site too
Hi all, I just picked up a 1993 Dakota LE about two weeks ago 2wd v8 121k miles.
I have a wheel question though. I searched all the threads I could find but here's the deal. I saw in the FAQ that the 98-03 Durango wheels fit, and I found a set on CL (15") and the guy selling them said that he tried to put them on his 91 Dakota and there was a bolt rubbing on the inside lip of the wheel. Do these wheels require an adapter or spacer to work?
To tell you all a bit more about me, I'm somewhat of a car nut and mostly a Chevy guy, yet the wife and I own two Dodge's (she has a Caliber) The Chevy's are a 84' Monte Carlo SS that my parents brought new and I've had it since for almost 17 years. The other car is a 09" Cobalt SS/TC. The Cobalt is my daily driver but in April my company is moving buildings and I won't be able to afford the new parking fee, so it's the bus for me, and I don't want to leave the Cobalt at the P&R and that's where the Dakota came in.

the rims i got from my friend rubbed in the same spot. it had already ground into 2 of them. i just ground the bolt a lil bit so i wouldnt rub on the other 2. dont know if thats the best solution though haha.
The 16" wheels from the Durango or Dakota need no modifications. The problem with the 15's is the extra width, and our brake lines bolt in a different spot than the newer models. I've got the 16's on my '93. In 4wd form, 245/75-R16's fit great. Where you are only 2wd, those will be too tall, I'd go with 245/65-R16's.
