Default Engine Swap Questions For a Newbie

I have a 1992 2wd Dakota with the 2.5L 4 cylinder and a 5-speed manual transmission. The truck is in good shape, but the engine is getting tired. I was planning on replacing the engine with a rebuilt crate 2.5L until reading this forum. From what I gather reading here, it is reasonable to replace the 2.5L with the 3.9L V-6. My question is what exactly do I need for the replacement? I am assuming a flywheel and ECM (computer) from the 3.9L. How about motor mounts, feel injector, bell housing,... ? Would it be better to try and find a low-mileage 3.9L or to buy a crate long block and then purchase anything else I need from a junk yard? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It's best to get EVERYTHING from a junkyard or a truck that is being parted out. www.craigslist.org is a good place. Get EVERYTHING motor mounts wires, computer transmission driveshaft EVERYTHING.
