Tail pipe exit before rear wheel

has anyone seen or hear of dual exhaust coming out before the tires?
if so would there be any problems wihth the gas tank?

I can quote several sources to confirm info given. Plus, I use the info on a regular basis. Will it create 30 torque? No, but it benefits the exhaust system as a whole to do it right. Plus, at the drag strip, we note who is more serious about compounded gains (not that this is the OP's goal). Many 1/2 hp gains equate to a better pump system. Please tell me I am wrong with this deductive reasoning. Ram air is shown to be effective above 40 mph, so based on your driving style it in fact does make a real world difference. Perhaps instead of "bastardizing" my opinions of the aesthetics of your system, you could positively contribute to the OP's ORIGINAL question.

As for double side exits, you may have funny "U" bends near the tank to clear, but it is "doable, just not practicle".

I went up over the frame & out the bed - dunno if it helps but it looks cool as hell

I'll have to get a shot with the mufflers on & sticking out.

that does look real good, i just dont have the time right now to do it. if i had the time to do it i would, migght even do that with duals
