Default Benefits on an electric fan?

I've seen many people on this forum who have converted to electric fans. I was just wondering what the benefits are? I may want to put them on my dakota aswell. And for people who have them, what sizes are you running?

Dont have a Dakota but I have them on my ram and love them! Running dual 16 in fans out of a Buick. Some say better mpg but I have yet to notice, I noticed better throttle repsonse. You will have more room to work! Not as much strain on the motor

Sounds like a win win when they're under $30 on ebay. What size(s) do u recommend crazy? I've got the 3.9L if that makes any difference

Dual 15 or 14 if I remember will fit. A Ford Taurus fan is the best fan to get. The FAQ has the years.

The downside is during high towing/hauling the electric fan may not be adequate. For me they have kept it cool enough, even under high towing/hauling.
