Recently I put headers on my 1995 dodge dakota. (5.2, 2wd, SLT) I only had a few problems during the project, but powered through them. I get to the EGR valve and I can't get it to bolt together very tight. I have them bolts as tight as I can get them and still the gasket is flopping around. Also there is a metal tube that is connected to it. Everyone tells me it should be rubber. Since this isn't tight there is a release of gas with moments of what seem like back fires. Been told this is a miss fire? It makes a loud pop whenever it does it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advanced.
