Oil capacity.
5 quarts is what it calls for put 5w30 in during the winder months and 10w40 during the spring and fall and 20w50 during the summer, it won't harm the engine. Because of the heat you want to change your oil thickness with the hotter temps, helps the engine stay slick as hell
if your in alaska stick to synthetic oil, it's all i use in Nova Scotia. i know it doesn't get as cold here but syns run like water at -40. you only have to change twice a year. 5w30 year round.
BTW i just watched a video made by a man who went to Alaska in the late 60's, built a log cabin and lived in it for 30 years. what a freakin' beautiful state. think the guys name was Dick Proenneke, there's some videos on utube.
