Tire advice plz
Hey guys I just order my lift kit
and now i need some tires looking for some used but still in decent shape.
My truck is for fishing so alot of dirt trails , hardcore winters in quebec and prob some offroading but nothing hardcore ...for now im thinking as its my first truck and dont know much
the tires options ive seen and deals were these.
31/10.5/15 Goodyear Wrangler M+S 10,000km on them roughly
265/70/15 Toyo Open Country
235/75/15 Roughrider M+S 75-80% left
Which tires would be better for my situation and still good ncie tire for some offroading ?
thanks for the advice will be picking these up shortly

i had a set of goodyear wranglers on mine and they where the best off road tire i ever had. they where factory on the truck from my 89 dak 4x4 sport, especially in winter.
i don't think that the ones they make now are the same but they look even better.
i now have Michelins on, i had goodyear tracker 2's, both junk in the winter and off road.
the only problem you have is you need a thin tire (Lt235x75x15) for the winter but a wide tire (Lt31x10.50) for the summer. you have to decide which is more important to you, summer or winter driving.
large wide tires will ride on the snow (like snowshoes) guess thats why i blew by so many guys in the ditch in florida and carolina that wanted to try there 35 inchers in a snow storm. (snowstorm of february 89).
BTW - dude from Nova Scotia

I don't know what your budget is but I've had good luck with the TreadWright retreads, you can get them to your door for about $400 and get whatever tread pattern you like.
is there going to be a big diffrence with the 31s in winter? i want the wranglers cuz there M+S so id use them year round and they look awsome.
think ill be okay with the 4x4 and the 31s.
didnt want to spend much on tires and found the wranglers at a good price
$350 for all 4 , 10000km roughly so still got some life on them
CT has special for them buy 1 get 1 50% but thats still 600$ + tax.
