anyone ever take a 96 dakota 2wd put chevy solid front axle and a rear in it
?

never done it with a 2x4 but it cant be all that hard the only thing your gonna have fun with is the drive shafts are going to have to be changed for the transfer case. and matching pinion angles the front shaft has a constent volicity joint in it so being off a little isnt complete end of the world. but there read shaft has to be spot on, on both axis. also need to make sure that the cross distance to the shaft is equal from the stock locaton to the chevy shaft location.

There is 1 solid axle swaps in the FAQ2 that started with 2wd. I'm currently doing a SAS on my truck, link in my signature. Tons of 4wd solid axle swaps in the FAQ2.
