Default 95 dodge dakota wiper linkage please help!!

i have a 1995 dodge dakota and have been looking for a new wiper linkage because during the winter the pivot that connects to the wiper arm stripped out forcing me to buy a new one. I have been looking everywhere for a new one and i have even checked junk yards but i have had no luck, would it be possible to use the linkage off another dodge model? Someone please help!

you just need the nylon bushing that pops into the end of the linkage. you can get at any auto store. there is nothing to strip on the linkage unless you are saying the pivot that attaches to the motor is stripped? then you need a new pivot!

OH....if you can't find one MacGyver it...maybe drill a small hole in the wiper and thread it and put a set screw in??/

you're looking for the wiper arm pivots, go to a junkyard and pull them off any 1st gen dakota; the same thing happened to me about a year ago, I ended up getting them off an 87 dakota. You could drill a hole through the wiper arm but it'll split the ball end where it attaches the splines of the pivot.

Technically, if you were real nice, one of us could procure it at a junkyard for you, and just pass on the bill. There are no less than six 1st gen's at one of the local yard, and there are 4 yards around here.

i've used vise grips before togive it some teeth before for just a temp fix. just squeezed it super tight. i agree with everyone else. just hit the junk yard and you'll find what you need. if you can't find one that a dealer may still have it available. i just got interior parts for myne last week so you never know.
