Default U-bolts and blocks

Well now that i got most of the mechanical bugs worked out I'm going to focus on makin my dak look a little more aggressive. I already put new skyjacker shocks all around and now it needs a lift. I've been looking for 2in blocks and U-bolts kit but I cant find a kit for a 94 dak anywhere. The closest I've come is a 1.5 block kit made by totalperformance - http://www.totalperformanceonline.co...66/BU-150-DD02

Aren't most blocks the same?

I thought I remember reading somewhere that the 2nd gen dak block kits will work, is that true?

Any help is appreciated, I rather not settle for a 1.5 kit but who knows....

Blocks will give you axle wrap. Not sure if you want that. I heard the Ram suspension somehow fits. Don't know but something to look into.

Putting a kit together is very easy and cheep. Any blocks will work that are 2.5in wide. Just buy the universal blocks. As for U-Bolts it depends on how long you need them to be, the tube is 3in. So measure the from the bottom of the Axle to the top of the springs and add in the block thickness then add in the nut and an inch for clearance.

Most autoparts stores sells the universal stuff, just piece it together. Or you can find tons on Ebay even if it doesn't say Dakota, just take your measurements.

Have you put reindexed keys in the front? if not just buy their 2 inch leveling kit... it does the job perfectly

Alright, thanks for all the help. I'm going to try and piece a kit together. I'll be sure to post pictures after the lift next week.
