Default 2 in body lift kits on 2 wheel drive dakotas

ok i have heard for the 2 in body lift kits to work on the 2 wheel drive dakotas you need a 1 in spacer for your steering, my question is do i have to make it or can i buy it and what does it look like, i need to know kinda quick because here very soon im gonna buy one of these body lift kits

Yes it is possible. I have done it. You will have to make it. Just get a pipe with the same size as the steering shaft, cut and weld in the spacer. If you can't do it take it to a muffler shop they can do it, they may have a scrap piece for the spacer too.

If it is an automatic transmission you will need to cut and weld in a spacer that is provided on to the shifter rod.

The fan shroud will need to be cut or relocation brackets made to lower it down.

The bumpers brackets will need to be redrilled to shift them upwards to fit the body.
