Default Disconnecting fuel rails

how do i do this. i know there is a tool for it but what size??? is there a way to do it without it

Well, I never had a problem pulling the lock down to disengage the rails, but you have to loosen the fuel pressure port to release the pressure first, or you will tear up the seals.

Its best to use the special tool. I never had any luck without it. You can get them at most autoparts stores.

i just used a windshield tool and held my tongue a certain way...worked after a few. i modified my stock fuel rails to make them fit, and then was told that my order cannot be canceled....so i guess im going to keep the hi-potek rails and when i can afford the rest of the fittings go for it. Just spent all my money on my saab tho.

just get the tool. it's very inexpensive at the parts stores and well worth it to save the aggrivation of trying to do it another way.
