Default Wheels Fitting On Tire

yeah hi guys i was wondering if a 15x8 wheel could fit my stock 235/75-R15 the only reason im asking is because ive read on a couple other sites that this cant be done or shouldnt be done because the tire is too skinny but i really would rather get the 8 inch instead of the 7 inch
so do you guys think it can or no?

here are the specs for the wheel
size:15x8
bolt pattern:6x4.5
offset(MM):13
Rear ****:5
Load Rating:1500

thanks guys

8in is good only if you have larger/wider tires. If your keeping stock tires why care about going 8in? Just go 7in to fit the stock tires. Using a tire calculator says your tire is 6.5in wide 7in is perfect.

well my reason for wanting an 8 in is because when i need to get new tires which will be probably in like a year i am going to go with like 33x12.50 or 32x11.50

235's on a 8" rim will look slightly stretched. The reason it is not recommended is due to roll out. When you take a hard corner with sticky tires, the tire can literally walk out of the rim. 245 and 255 look good on a 8" rim. I have gone 245 on a 7", but it was a little bulbous. Since 1" is exactly 2.54 cm, you can do the math. Keep in mind that taller sidewalls will reduce the visual issues with tread versus wheel width.
