my 96 3.9l v6 4wd trans cooler lines are bad i cant find replacements anywhere but dealer can i just use rubber hi pressure/temp hose to replace with correct ends on it?

 

You must of not looked hard. Autozone has them Napa Oreilly's has them. Probably other parts stores too. Check there websites.

NO don't use rubber line.

 

carquest was right across street only ones they could track down are in Tennessee napa had none showing in their system baxter had none screw autozone napa said to use just trans cooler rubber line but not i got all together its all good on fluid but once in drive i have to keep foot on gas or it will die any ideas on why
