With my truck came a new-used sending unit, I suppose its from an earlier truck since the pump is removable. Will this bolt into my truck? I've tested the unit and it works, I just need to buy a new pump and then its ready to be dropped in if it'll fit. I think its off an 89 or similar year and I have a 95.

Without knowing exactly where the pump came from who knows. If you can find part number you may be able to look it up.

I say buy a new one, you don't know how many miles have been on that pump. Who knows maybe in a month you will have to replace that new/used one.

 

do not think so. i have a 90 and have a 93 sending unit laying around after a lot of searching found out will not work. not even close...post a pic of the sending unit you have if you can.
